Programs Won't Open Anymore

I've been having problems opening iTunes (ver. 6) and AIM Triton ever since I
installed the new XP Service pack. Everytime I click on the programs to open
them on the desktop (or through the start menu etc) nothing happens. When I
checked the Task Manager it said that the process is running - everytime I
click on the icons it starts a new process, but never actually opens. Most of
my other programs are working and I've tried re-installing the programs a
bunch of times. CAN ANYONE HELP ME?!

I am having the same problem, I have been reseaching everywhere. I just did
a selective startup, disabling all services except for Microsoft services. I
was disappointed to find this did not work. My last resort will be to
reformat and reload XP, but unfortunately my kids are anxious to use their
Ipods. Happy Holidays!!!#$%@&!!!
