Programs stop working

I have Windows XP SP3. While typing, the program I am working in will stop
working, I can left click my mouse where it stopped on the page and it will
start again. There is no error message. This happens in office programs and
other third party programs. I have no idea what is causing this. Has
anybody had this happen to them?

Try opening "event viewer",locate the error/warning when the program
stopped,get specific details.Also,click on the url enclosed with it,this
opens
KB help/support in xp,usually with a fix to it....

Line 66. ( r-h column) Prevent Programs from Stealing Focus - Undo

The "Undo" will change the registry settings back, if there are other
changes you don't like.
