Programs starting when windows starts

When I start the computer Microsoft Outlook loads automatically but I want to
stop it loading. I have tried several things but nothing works - please help

Run MSCONFIG from the Start | Run line, and on the Startup tab,
uncheck Microsoft Outlook.
 
Ken - thanks but I have tried this and MS Outlook isn't on the list of
programs in startup ! I am not sure what to do next ?
