programs opening, mouse jumping!

please help me. while i am not even touching the
computer, keyboard, mouse. some of my programs start
opening up and if i move the mouse, it is jumping all
over the screen (never on top). please help me to solve
this problem, it is very annoying while i am trying to
work on the computer. This happens also while i am in
the middle of searching of trying to open a file.
 
Configure your mouse speed and settings through Control Panel>Printers and
Other Hardware>Mouse.
