Everything on my system worked fine until a day ago. At startup sometimes it
hangs at the black screen with the windows xp splash and the blue bar. When
it gets past there it will startup normally and will be fine for a few
minutes. after that, some programs including iTunes, Firefox, Thunderbird,
and Diskeeper won't open. I click on the icon and I get the waiting cursor
but nothing happens. I tried ending the processes, but the process keeps
running. If I try to restart, most of the programs will close, but it stays
at the desktop as if it is waiting for a program to close. I use system
restore and went back to a point when everything was normal, butthe same
stuff happened.
