programs gone...Paint, pinball, games, calc, etc

H

I'm not sure what happened but these little games and programs that
come with the computer (win xp SP2) have disappeared from "All
Programs"

I searched for Paint and found it in this folder "C:\WINDOWS\
$NtServicePackUninstall$" and then added it to Start Menu.

I have no clue what I did.

Any suggestions?

Lisa,

Control Panel - Add Remove Programs - Add Remove Windows Components (left
hand side of screen) - In Windows Component Wizard, tick Accessories &
Utilities - select 'Details' - you'll find the Games & Accessories there to
reload.

This looked to restore everything for my user, but at quick glane, not
for all users.
Do I need to repeat this for all users?

Do I need to follow dfrog's instrux and yours or would that be
duplication?
dfrog's sufggestion restored everything to my user but not all users,

I've no experience of multi-users (there's only ever been me on my system),
but in the absence of any other advice, I would think that would do the
trick. Shouldn't be too taxing - unless you have tons of other users :)
