Same problem as R.Rich but I keep getting a pop up that
says Quratto Pro 10 Loader has encountered a problem will
send a report, contact microsoft. I can not open, I have
tried all the self help tips, Please help thank you for
your assistance. I have XP
Can not open the Quattro Pro application or Windows? If just the program,
try disabling the loader from startup: Start > Run > MSCONFIG> Startup.
Uncheck the loader. Click OK and restart. If successful, you may want to
look in Quattro Pro's configuration menus for a way to permanently turn off
the loader.
If you are unable to get into Windows, try booting to Safe Mode. Press F8
after the POST screens and before Windows starts to load. Timing can be
tricky and it may take a few tries before you get it just right. I use the
"beep" that signifies the floppy drive being detected as my signal to press
F8. Some folks repeatedly tap F8 until the Advanced start menu appears.
Select Safe Mode from the list of options. Once you're in Safe Mode,
disable the Quattro Pro loader using MSCONFIG or the program's menus as
described above.
If loading Quattro Pro at startup is necessary, check the online technical
support area for the program. Locate an update that addresses the startup
problem this portion of their program has with XP. Download and install
according to the directions at the web site.
