Programmes uninstall on reboot - Win XP Pro

Hi there,

is there a stetting in Win XP Pro that uninstalls certain programmes or
uninstalls programmes that are installed. What happens is that whatever I
install, e.g. Skype, MSN and other programmes such as filters run fine when
installed but when I restart they are no longer there.

If that is the case - where and how do I change this setting?

Wondering now whetehr it is a setting on the server. Need to check what
server software is running - but hypothetically speaking - would it be
possible to set user's permissions to install software and then automatically
uninstall it at the end of the day when they shut down?
