Programme exe problem

I keep recieving the following message when trying to run some programmes,
C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/AUTOEXEC.NT.THE SYSTEM FILE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR RUNNUNG
MS-DOS AND MICROSOFT WINDOWS APPLICATIONS.CHOOSE CLOSE TO TERMINATE THE
APPLICATION.

Could someone please shed some light on this problem.

Have you tried creating a shortcut directly to your Program.exe file ?
That's the easy way to run Dos programs in XP.

XP is not set up to run programs that were designed to run in a DOS
enviornment.
