Program won't uninstall

Pod

I have tried to uninstall Paint Shop Photo Album from JASC Software Inc
using Add/Remove Programs.

Although the main Program has gone I am still left with A folder called JASC
Software Inc which itself contains several sub folders & 3 .exe files; one
of which works.

The entry has disappeared from Add/Remove Programs

Windows Installer Clean Up Utility doesn't mention it.

There are still entries for it in the registry.

Can I safely delete the folder?

Will the registry sort itself out?

Sorry if this seems a dumb enquiry.
 
Oh And I forgot...I tried reinstalling the program to see if that helped &
it would not install as the error message said that it was already
installed.

I'd delete the folder to your recycle bin
and reboot.

If there are no problems I'd not worry about it
but you might as well manually delete the items from your registry as well
(or use registry cleaning software such as Ccleaner)

Thank you. I've deleted to the recycle bin the JASC Folder & rebooted with
no problems.

I've deleted the JASC entries in HKCR, HLCU\Software, & HKLM\Software; is
there anywhere else I should be regediting, that you can think of please?

You should be fine and I would no longer worry about it...
However you may want to consider registry cleaning software that has the
ability to un-do any registry changes
 
What a splendid site, thank you. It also helped me get rid of Corel Paint
Shop Pro remnants whilst I was at it.
