Program to update everyting

Is there a program out that will identify drivers, and updates for programs
you have on your computer.

There used to be many several years ago, but they eventually disappeared, for two reasons: 1) Do you have any idea how many programs and drivers there are to keep track of? and 2) there are privacy issues with letting a third party know what's on your computer. To that you can add: How do you know an alleged update isn't spyware?

True, and True....I used to use Cnet Catchup, but its no longer used.
