Program to extract programs from a Recovery Disk

Is there a program that will show and extract software from a recovery or
some other kind of disk? For example : I have a studio program on my laptop
recovery disk that I want to move to my desktop. I want to extract it from
the lap disk, burn it to a CD and setup on the desktop.
