When XP boots up, and you log in, is there a way to
specify the order in which programs load up? ie: zone
alarm, symantec antivirus, winzip, weatherbug, and etc....

Thanks

Create shortcuts for all of them and move them to the
startup folder. That folder starts in alphbetical order
so name them like,

1AGV
2norton
3zonealarm

etc

Not true! My set up is in alphabetical order but some start-ups do not
start in sequence.

For programs that start from the startup folder, remove them from
there and start them in a batch file. Put the programs in the
batch file in the order you want and put that batch file in the
startup folder.

TRUE..........you may not see them that way but you run
Bootvis and you'll see !!!!!!!!
