Program Setup file Won't open

Hi there. I am trying to install my school's gradebook program on my home
computer. I have XP home edition. When I put the CD in the drive, it won't
automatically open. I have to manuelly open the disk and when I try to open
the set up file, nothing happens. I've tried 3 CDs and it happens with all
3. I have put other programs in the drive and they autorun and begin
installation with no problem. Several other teachers at my school have
installed the program on their home computers with XP. What would cause the
setup file to not open? Any ideas on how to get it to run? OH, I've also
gone through the control panel and tried the Add/Delete software folder as
well. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Youre in "my computer" R.click on the cdrom with the cd installed, select
open,if auto run file fails to start, try search, type: .EXE or .exe Thier
may be
more than 1 program on the cd,you might be starting the wrong one to
initialize.
You can always R.click a file, select properties, see what details it gives..
