Program not running on windows 2000

I'm tying to install a software that I was running on my
previous PC (windows 95) and I'm getting the following
message "This program does not run on Windows NT".
Is there anything I can do other than having Windows 95
running on separate partition?
Will it work on Windows XP?

If they don't support it any more, this is the only thing I can think of
that may work.
