program not responding

In record now when I am doing a system scan-program stops responding every time at 39%. Tried reinstalling from application recovery-please help

Not sure just what you mean, but make sure to stop all other programs from
running before you start your scan.

Right click on the icons at the bottom right of your screen and close, exit
or whatever is required to stop each program from running. NOTE: Some
programs can not be stopped, exited or turned off. These programs should not
cause you any problems.
