Program Files directory

I want to install Windows 2000 on my C drive, but I want
the ProgramFiles directory to be on E drive. Is it
possible to achieve?
 
When you install your programs you can simply choose E:\Program Files for
the install. There's no global setting. In many cases it's an application
specific decision.
