Profiles

Since I'm the only one who uses my computer I don't have "profiles". A
friend asked me the question below, and I have no idea what to tell her. I
would think that it shouldn't, but don't want to give her wrong information.

If one profile is open and deletes AOL and Yahoo messenger does that affect
everyone's profile?

Hi Helen,

It might - hard to tell sometimes. If she just deletes icons (shortcuts)
that are housed in her profile, then no. If they are in the allusers folder,
then yes. Uninstalling a program will generally affect all users, unless
that program was installed completely under that user only.
