profile prompt help

Hi,
We have a few users in our Call Center dept having an issue w/ their profile
prompt.

All users log onto a Terminal server via a Winterm. Terminal server is
running W2k and has Office (Outlook) 2000.

Each employee has 2 profiles. Their personal, and a general Call Center one.
Each end user is set to prompt for a profile when opening Outlook
(tools>options>mail services).

I've verified that both profiles are present (control panel>mail) and that
all still have the correct prompt setting indicated above.

They are logging off correctly (file>exit and log off) and so there's no
instance of Outlook.exe or Mapi32 hanging in task mgr>processes.

The only way they can get the prompt to re-appear is by completely logging
off the terminal server and then logging back on and opening up outlook.
However, once they select the general Call Center profile, the profile prompt
is lost. If they select their personal profile and log off/re-open outlook,
the profile prompt will still occur.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jim

Verify when they close their profile that this key is being set:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Options\PickLogonProfile

Also you might start using Outlook Profiler to manage your profiles.
