Profile List suggets 2 New Emails that don't exist

When I boot up XP, by my user name it says that I have 2 unread emails (from
my hotmail account) but there aren't any in my inbox. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi ,
You've probably read all your mail, this notification happens a lot
apparently.

You can remove the notification via a registry edit:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail\<your
e-mail address>
Double click Message Count in the right hand pane and change the value to 0
(zero).

If you're not happy with messing about with the registry, download Tweak UI
from Microsoft .

Once installed, open and expand 'Logon', click on 'Unread Mail' and uncheck
'Show unread mail on welcome screen' then 'Apply' and exit
