Profile inconsistancy

Its not the first time a see that on Windows XP workstation on my networks.
When we do change in the logon script (Kixtart) for example changing the path
of a mapping some users wont connect their network drive correctly. The same
user on another station work fine. If a delete the profile and create a new
...its working well. All our profile are local on the workstation. We do not
use roaming profile. Because of those issues, some changes that should be
easy are creating me a lot of support call.

What is corrupt in the profile ?

Is there a way to correct that kind of issue whitout deleting the entire
profile so the users wont loose all is settings ?

Is there a way to delete only network informations (groups memberships,
network drive, persistant net use, cache ...) ?

Try running the same command [for example NET USE] from the login script
manually to map the drive at a Command prompt, and see if you get an error
message that tells you what is going wrong? If something does go wrong, you
may be able to use the NET USE /DELETE command to remove cached network
mapping information such as cached passwords or drive mappings that were
done outside of the logon script.
