Product key for an Office 2000 Msi installation...

Hi.

I have problem. I am using GPOs to send out Office 2000
installations to all users. Though as they Office
installs I need to visit them locally and insert the
product key. Is it possible to enter this product key in
any file where I have the msi package to avoid this? In a
way that is similair to the one I use with RIS, where I
enter the product ID in the sif file...

Any solution is interesting.

Thanks for your time.

Maybe you can try using the office 2000 resource kit tools. In which there
is a tool called "Custom Installation Wizard", that can help customizing
most detail options for the installation process and generate a MST
transformation file and a correspond batch for installation.

I have the same problem and really don't want to create an MST just so I can
have the license code included. Seems to me there should be a way to key it
into the MSI using ORCA. I've combed through it and there are several
places that looks like you could add the key. Does anybody happen to know
how to do this?
