What about the XP Upgrade Advisor?
Really, with backup needs and DVD-R 16X/CD-R 52X burners, you need 1.6 Ghz or
better.
| The one I want to upgrade, and it's probably only one, is the Pentium 450,
| 384mb memory, currently running Win98, but I know will run 2000 pro since i
| am running that on the Pentium 400. As for drivers, I think the video and
| sound should be Ok. I'll need to check with Dell on that. The printer is
| Ok, but probably not the scanner. What else could I be missing? Doesn't
| dell run a diag on systems to tell you if they can be upgraded?
