I Have looked for the solution to my problem everywhere, I have had troubles
with my CD Drive, where it was not recognised, then not recognised as a
rewritable drive, simply a CD-ROM drive, I have addressed these issues, by
following instructions in the Microsoft Knowledge Base, yet I am still unable
to burn to CD, either with XP or third party software. In media player it
says that CD drive not detected, also a blank CD will not bring up any
autoplay options, yet a music CD and computer CD work fine. Could it be a
registry problem, how can I correct these issues. Is there any way to
restore the basic XP registry, what should settings be for CD Drive. Please
help me!
