problems

i just upgrade my notebook (presario 2555AP) from Win XP
home to WinXp Pro.... but im facing the problem:

- i cant enter the standby mode (not resuming back / it
will hang)
- i cant hibernate (it will hang)

can anyone help me?
 
Hi,

Usually this is a driver issue. Upgrading to WinXP Pro wouldn't have fixed
that. You need the proper driver support from the system manufacturer or the
component vendor. Which component is difficult to tell, you often need to
figure it out by trial and error.

You need to go to the Compaq web site and get the proper drivers for XP.
