Problems with Windows 2000 and offline sync

I have files missing these files where offline files that
I have not been sync with my server. I am using windows
2000 workstation and offline sync to a windows 2000
server. If the files never sync to the server and I
unselected offline sync of the folder and then sync. Is
there any way to retrieve the directory?

This won't answer your specific question, but for what it's worth, I've
given up on Offline Files and go the third party route. Check out
www.centered.com - I think it's a lot better. I've seen too many incidents
of data loss via offline files....
