Problems with Web Forms

Hello,

a relative has a strange problem: She can't enter something in any web
form anymore: She isn't able to enter a search string in Google or log
into her freemail account (on the web page).

Why do I post this here? It seems to be a windows xp problem, as it
happens in any browser, not only in the internet explorer.

Does anyone have an idea, what the reason could be?

Can she look in Event Viewer to see if there is an Event ID ?
