Problems with Updates in Trend Micro Internet Security and Windows Security Alerts

I am running Windows XP Home Edition with both SP1 and 2 Packs installed.

Recently I updated my Trend Micro Internet Security 11.40 Build 5015 to
Virus Pattern: 2.226.00.

The issue I am having is with "Windows Security Alert" tell me my Virus
Protection is out of Date
after updating to 2.226.00, which is the latest for my current version of
Trend Micro Internet Security.

Has anyone had this or similar issue with Trend Micro Security? If so, how
did you resolved this issue?
Must I contact Microsoft orTrend Micro?

Any help in solving this matter would be welcomed!

You need to upgrade if you want the new Security Center to recognize that
your package is active. (NIS2003 users have the same option.)

Or, tell the Security Center to shut up and ignore it.

Running Windows XP Pro, SP2, same Trend Micro version and pattern, no
problems here.

The program itself may need to be updated to account for SP2. If the issue
persists and you know you are protected, you can turn off the alert in the
Security Center (left column, fifth link).
 
I went to the security center, and under virus protection, changed status
from on to off, then the next day changed it back to on. This has currently
fixed that problem w/ windows and trend.
