problems with slow internet

I recently installed and then uninstalled a bittorrent called "utorrent". before installation, my intenet speed was so-so. now (after installation)-its so terrible that I had to find another computer to get onto the internet.

any suggestions?

What OS?

If Windows, perhaps System Restore is the option.

Uninstall it, it sucks anyways lol, many Torrent applications do not exit gracefully! so if you click the "X" in the frame of the application it stays open. I would open it then file --> exit. Also assuming windows OS check your task manager for running apps and or services. Or you have a virus...
