Problems with Outlook attachments sent to Lotus Notes recipients

I have problems sending attachments in Outlook: 1stly there is no attachment
box. The files are simply embedded in the mail text. Recipients, who operate
in Lotus Notes simply receive Win.dat files.
When replying to a mail - however - and attaching a file the attachment box
opens and my attachments are defivered without a problem.
Any answer to this problem?

Change your message format from Rich Text to HTML or Plain Text.
