Problems with IE

I was running IE perfectly fine one night and the next morning it started to
act weird. First, it took almost two minutes to open the explorer. Then every
time that I clicked on a link that it was supposed to open a new window it
took forever and never opened. The weird thing is the the IE in my wife's
side of the computer (her account) worked fine (that is untill tonight that
she's having the same problem). I've run Ad aware, spybot, stinger, McAfee
and zone alarm and so far they haven't detected anything weird. Can anyone
help us?

Did you update Ad-Aware and Spybot before running them?

Go to: http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
Download "Hijack This!" [freeware]

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates: "hijackthis.log")

Next, go to the below location:
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/

Sign in, go to the "Malware Removal" section.
Press "New Topic" and post a description of your symptoms. If they need to
see your log they will ask for it.

Hi Mazzinger :)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Clearing the TIF Cache -
Safely Delete the Temporary Internet Files
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm

also...

First., download and install BHODemon from
http://www.definitivesolutions.com/bhodemon.htm
Your problem may be caused by a bad BHO.

If this does not resolve the problem, the do the following:

Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites:
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Hope this helps

Jan :)
