Problems with file structure on C drive

My computer keeps crashing and running FixIt Utilities tells me:

"Windows found problems with the file system. Run CHKDSK with the /F option
to correct these."

I've run CHKDSK a number of times with the /f option and the /r option and
FixIt keeps telling me the same thing.

Hi Jim,

So ignore FixIt and concentrate on the actual problem. You say the system
crashes, is there a blue screen error? Is a dump file created? Have you made
any system changes that coincide with this problem? Have you tested the ram?
