Arthur, eh? Does that mean I can't call you Figgs? :)

Of course you can....I was just being a tad facetious!! :) I will have a
look at it and see. Look how long it took for you all to talk me into
trying Firefox and I love it. IIRC, it was all the instructions at the
beginning that were a bit confusing.

Cheers....Figgs

Non, Jacques even shaves his head.)

Other than professional athletes, the only men I know who shave their
heads are the ones who only have a fringe around the edge... Does
Jacques play basketball? <g>

Thanks, D........to the rescue once again. I will download it and follow
your instructions. I am pretty sure the licence key stays in the registry
somewhere, but will note it down.

And one of these days, when I get a spare minute, I will drop you a line and
try and remember all the things I was going to ask you. Been a little
*hairy* here on the personal front for a while.

Cheers.....Figgs

Heather,

You're welcome. I know things have been a bit hectic for you. When
things settle down, drop me a line.

Cheers,

You must not know many hillbillies, most of us shave or as we say burr
our hair a few times a year. I wonder if that is why at going on 53 I still
have a full head of hair (well until burr it that is, lol) and no bald
spots?

Hey, I am getting better at drivers. Willy helped me out with some
motherboard ones. (or some such). I even went to Samtron to d/l ones for
XP, but there are none. The resolution is 800 x 600.....if I try for
higher, everything is so small I can't read it. Roxio 7 won't work unless I
raise it, for instance.

If Windows XP is anything like Windows 98, you should be able to
right-click on the desktop and get a little menu. Click on "Properties"
and you get a dialogue box to set display properties. Click on the
"Appearance" tab and you get a configuration screen for the properties
of things such as title-bar colour and other stuff. I have eighteen
things listed in the "Items" drop-down menu. Windows XP may have a
different amount (or may not even have that setting). Select each item
in turn. Many of the item selections have an associated "Font" setting
that includes font size, colour, italics and bold. Raising the font size
and/or selecting the 'B' button (for bold text) for each item with a Font
setting may make stuff more readable for you at higher resolutions.
