problems with com ports...

Hello,
We use minlogon with our application like shell. Our application use
external IO card, witch is connected to COM2. We are trying to add
touch screen support in our build. We don`t have any problems with Elo
(usb and serial) and Microtouch usb, but we are having troubles with
microtouch serial.
When we put inside serial drivers for microtouch (MT7.11 exii) and
touchscreen is connected there is no problems, but when load without
touchscreen connected windows recognise out IO card (connected on
COM2) like touchscreen.
We try "PortSearch" option from microtouch, also
"SkipEnumerations"=dword:ffffffff option, but this does`t help us.
Other strange problem is that if we open "regedit", after open few
keys (we don't change nothing) and after start our application
(without touchscreen) evretyng is OK.

We use Win XP Embedded 2007
Hardware: Via NC motherboard

Hi Grogre,

I think this should be the touch driver issue. It doesn't support hard swap.
You can try to write a small utility to monitor touch screen is plug-on on
not and change the registry if detect it.
