Hello,

I have this problem only with 3 computers of 150. When I finished the
migration, I turn off the NT4 DC. Inmediatly, these 3 computers work slow.
When I turn on NT4 DC, these ones work fine. When I check these computers
with netstat command, these ones call the 139 port in NT4 DC when I open
Outlook or Internet Explorer. The computers that not present this problem,
call the 445 port in Win2k AD DC, with the same test (Open Outlook or
Internet Explorer). Do you know why I have this problem? How to fix it?

Thanks

Do you run DHCP on your network? Are these workstations getting the correct
DNS and WINS server IPs now? You still really want WINS, even without NT in
the picture, unless you're going to disable NetBT.

Thank you for your answer. That are the answers for your questions.

I run DHCP only for computers with wireless. This problem is in the desktop
computers.

These workstations have the correct DNS and WINS IPs.

I use Wins to resolve the names for VPNs I have installed. May be, I could
test if my VPNs works without problems with DNS.

In my next message I will comment the results.

Thank you
