Problem with NT4 server in new AD domain

Hi,

Recently, I inherited a network and had to re-install a Win2k DC due to
a hardware crash and had to redo all DC configurations as they had no
data backup and setup a new domain called ACA. In the previous domain
ABA, it had an NT4 server.

I've managed to re-install all the clients and successfully add them
into the domain, however, I am having issues with NT4.

How do I remove the previous domain ABA (which was an win2k AD domain)
and add it into the newly created ACA domain? The original DC is not
available so I can't seem to remove it from the domain.

Any help is much appreciated.

I'm not sure that I understand you correctly

- You created a new Forest named ACA.
- You want to move the domain ABA (old forest) to the ACA (new forest), is
this correct?

If yes then it's not possible, because the you can't merge one forest into
another.

2)
- You add the Domain ACA to the existent forest ABA.
- The Domain ABA (which is the root domain) failed, and now you want to
remove the ABA domain, is this correct?

Here again you can remove the top root domain without all other existent
domains.
