Problems uninstalling McAfee

I have mcafee security centre, personal firewall and viruscan and would
like to remove them.
When I run change/remove from control panel the mcafee installer pops
up but the screen is blank.

I'm running xp with all the updates and IE 7. Maybe there's a problem
with a dll in IE 7, that's the only thing that's change recently.

I tried reinstalling mcafee from the cd but got the same problem.

Anyone have any ideas what could be the problem and how I can uninstall
this software?

IE7 *is* early beta software so unexpected or unrecoverable errors
should be expected and prepared for, up to and including reinstalling
your entire Windows partition.

You could try uninstalling IE7 first, or rolling back to a restore point
first.

Uninstall IE7 Beta and you'll find (1) all your McAfee apps will be
working/updating correctly and (2) you will be able to uninstall them.

Beta testers of IE7 Public Preview are asked to post their comments to
microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general newsgroup.
