Problems transferring DRM protected files

Anyone having problems transferring subscription music files (Yahoo Music
Unlimited) to portable players? Files will transfer OK, but some are not
playable on the portable and come up with license errors (Invalid License).
However, these same files are "playable" from Media Player 10.

I have deleted and re-downloaded the music files to reset the license with
no luck and have the latest Media Player 10 code, XP Home and firmware on the
portable (RCA RD2765). It should be noted that some files work, some don't,
but I can't see any pattern. Non-protected files (WMA & MP3) work fine on
the portable player.

Help! This is very frustrating!

I have exactly the same problem - I have AOL Music Now with Portability -
trying to sync to a ZEN Nano - I get an error message "UNKNOWN ERROR" - I
have email to both AOL and Creative - no answers yet - I did the patch from
the Play for Sure site - still no joy. I am more than frustrated - I am
upset.

All non-protected files transfer with no problem.

Does it work for some files and not others? I can't see any patterns as to
what the difference in, so it must be something in the way the files are
encoded or possibly how the licenses are handled.

I cannot get any subscription file to download to the MP3 player. Only
unprotected files are downloaded - however all files are in the Window Media
Player 10.

Interesting. Yahoo Music Engine does not list the Zen Nano as being a
compatible device. Just the Dell DJ & Dell Ditty. Does AOL Music support
the Nano?

As I stated, I'm able to transfer some files successfully, but it seems to
random as to which ones will work once they are transfered.

Good luck to you in getting this working. Hopefully someone will have some
words of wisdom here.

Apparently - the Zeno Nano does not support the subscription service. Only
download protocols.
