My email is not functioning at all. If I try to send an email a login and
password box appear several times while typing my message. Then the email
never gets sent. It says there is an error. And when I try to send an email
from yahoo to windows mail it says it fails. The people at Verizon says
there is a fix for this on the Microsoft website. I cannot seem to find it.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks,
Lisa

So, when you send an email from Yahoo webmail to the account
you have set up in Windows Mail (a Verizon account?), you get
a failure notice? What does the failure notice say? Windows Mail
has no involvement with causing sending from Yahoo to result in
a delivery failure notice. Sounds like that Verizon email address
is invalid.

Hi Lisa, I hope I can help you. I assume that you double check with verizon
the set up of your account.
Did they give you the server port numbers for POP3 and SMTP? (you can find
this ones on the advance tab of your account settings.

Gary, I and just enter for the first time minutes (not hours) before I
posted a prosible solution. I didn't see any answer to this problem, and as a
courtesy I answer. I am new using the communities site, I just log in to see
if I could find an answer to some problems. Sorry if I caused any
inconvenient.
