I have been trying to logon to Yahoo mail (or any yahoo
account -- photos, news, My Yahoo, etc.) for two days
without success. Each time I enter my login ID and
password, the systems moves slowly, and eventually returns
a "This Page Cannot Be Displayed" error. I also get this
when I occassionally try using Yahoo's search engine. I
notice that my computer keeps sending packets of
information, but none are being returned I do not have
this problem with other websites -- they seemingly work
fine. I have contact my ISP to resolve it, and they say
it's not a problem on their end. I've checked my Ethernet
card to ensur that it's fuctioning properly. I've gone
through 3 or 4 of Microsoft's forums for how to fix
the "This Page Cannot Be Displayed" problem without
success. I have reset and ensured the proper security
settings, ensured I have all my .dll files, etc. I'm at a
loss. Any ideas? Thank you!

Perhaps as additional help, Dave 7 and Jerry F. are having
the same problems with different websites (see their
postings below). Thanks again! Please send help to

Hi, if you get a solution to the problem you are having,
please let me know. I am having an identical problem.

I've been having the same trouble, but with a few other
websites as well - it's always when I try to log in. The
system sits and spins, then coughs up the Page Not Found
message. I've also tried various fixes (similar to OP)
and nothing works. I would have thought it was just
Yahoo (they did just upgrade their mail setup), except
that I'm seeing this on other websites (though only a
few).
