problems publishing pdfs

Hello All, did some searches, but hoping for clarification on this
problem. I host about 700 sites,, I now have two sites that are having
similiar issues. Both sites are having problems publishing pdfs via the
FP extensions. They can publish other files ok, just get an error when
they get to the pdf, what's odd, is somtimes its a "check for
extensions" and sometimes a permission. Quotas are fine on both sites,
they are publishing to a unix based server with FP extensions, I
believe 2003. I found on another thread someone saying there was a
known issue with unix/FP extensions and pdfs, dealing with timeouts.
Anyone help out on this? Thanks!

I've had an identical problem, but with FP 2002. Once the user upgraded to
FP2003 the issue went away for awile. It came back and from what I saw the
file names could be the problem. Spaces and the # symbol caused the files to
time out when uploading using FP. The files uploaded nicely when using FTP.

What are your server logs telling you the errors are?
