Problems problems problems...

Besides from other troubles with Vista beta 2, I have these 2 big problems:
--When I log on, explorer doesn't load. A blank blue screen sits there while
the CPU does stuff. I need to go into the task manager, kill explorer, and
start it again to get to the desktop.
--When I do everyday tasks (close a program, play a song, open media center,
goto microsoft.com, stuff) the screen goes blank, the system restarts, and I
lose whatever I was working on, and go back to problem one.

----Since Apple started using a UNIX based system, nobody can hack into Mac
OS X. If X can be so secure, and not need hundreds of thousands of
quantrillions of bug fixes, service packs, and security rollups, why can't
Microsoft's software be? [seriously I have a ubuntu linux cd just waiting to
be used]----

I'd suggest you convert entirely to Linux.

I had a lot of problems with explorer.exe after an upgrade, works well now
that I installed clean (of course 80% of my programs won't install or
install but don't work, then may not even uninstall)

As to your signature, I just got a boatload of security updates (patches)
downloaded on my OS/X 10.4.7 (MacBook Pro) from Apple. There were far more
this month for my Mac than even the 11 that came down for XP Pro SP2
(running on the other partition on the same machine). Enjoy Ubuntu (they
have security fixes too.)

Ubuntu is a good distribution. As with Linux, though, I hope you are
comfortable typing commands in a terminal to the OS.

You don't **really** believe that no one can hack into Mac OS X,
do you?

And you haven't noticed all of the updates that were released by
Apple this past week?

Do a clean installation of Ubuntu 6.06 and then see how many
updated packages you will need to download in order to have an up
to date system. I hope you have a fast internet connection.

Vista is still beta quality software. Of couse it has problems.
Some people will be lucky and most things will work fine for
them.Others will have multiple problems. That's what beta testng
is all about.

If you don't like Windows, use what you like. But, at least go
with your eyes open.

lol well as for the problem your having id say reload it as for the apple
comment about being non hackable lol well lets just say thats not even close
to being true and remember linux and zenix was the first systems we used to
hack the daylights out of and are far from secure perfect
