problems installing new hard drive

Using a Dell Dimension XPS T600r machine and Windows XP
Professional, a new WD 120 GB hard drive was installed.
Upon booting up an error code:0x80090006 was received
saying Windows was prevented from accurately checking
for license authization.

Now the CD and Zip drive aren't recognized either, even
with the old hard drive. Whats the problem?

Is everything still being detected in the BIOS?

Yes, but only there. Do I need a new controller card?
