Problems downloading email in Outlook after istalling XP SP2

I have installed WIndows XP Service Pack 2 and have noticed that I cannot now
down load some of my email from my ISP server. Generally it will download a
few emails and will then hang. The only work around is to go to my ISP's
online mail server and manual delete the HTML spam mail that is usually the
problem. This was not an issue before loading SP2. My other work around is
to use my laptop which is running on Windows 98 and downloads all my email
with no problems.

Is there a setting in Windows XP's security settings that can resolve this
issue?

Try uninstalling/reinstalling your antivirus, antispam, and/or personal
firewall software that protects e-mail. (You may have to reinstall each
w/out e-mail protection as Windows XP (SP2) includes a change on how
localhost connections may be used.)
