I need some help. I have upgraded from Win 98SE to XP Home edition w/
SP2. I have upgraded all of the XP upgrades microsoft offers on their
web site. Now when I go into my hard drives, either c: or e:, I can't
create a folder. The hour glass comes up, computer waits for about 30
seconds and goes to desktop. Computer is not locked up, it just goes to
desktop. This happens on either drive. So, I went into DOS command
prompt through windows and am able to create directorys. Windows
recognizes the directorys and will let me place files into them. Why
can't I create directorys in XP? I have run the reinstall/fix that came
with XP to no avail. Please help. Thank You, Larry
