Problems creating DVDs with Photo Story.

I'm using Photo Story 3, Roxio EZ CD/DVD Creator 6, and Windows XP Home
(Plextor 708A DVD drive). Life is great until I try to burn a DVD.

I tried using the DVD profile provided by Microsoft, but it's blurry and
sub-VHS quality. I downloaded a profile from PapaJohn's web site
(PapaJohn-DVDProfile.prx), but Roxio crashes during the burn ("Roxio DVD
Builder enountered an error and must close" blah, blah, blah).

Any advice on burning DVDs (preferrably without buying a bunch of software)
would be much appreciated! Thanks.

Hey Tom, I just posted a very similar question... interesting... I have
picked up the Papajohn profile but have not tried it yet.

I used Sonic MyDVD and it will not accept directly any files created from
PhotoStory 3, I have to use MovieMaker2 to create an AVI file.... yet
another step where I think I lose quality...

I am as curious as you are - 'cause my photos on the DVDs I have done are
god awful...

Well I downloaded their free trial today and I am not impressed.

First of all - it hung on creating a DVD....did not even make it to the
writing stage.

I then tried a VCD, it would not work with my DVD writer - telling me I need
to use my other DVD/CD writing software.

Same issue with SVCD....

I am waiting for some response from their support.

It would worth the $50 of it actually does work..
