Problems after XP SP2

I am deploying XP SP2 to my users computers.

About 10% of the computers have serious problems after the installation,
most involve svchost.exe error that result in OS services crashing.

Some of the computers are fixed by using the MGADiag.exe fix but most are
only fixed after removing SP2 and reinstalling it

Have any one encountered this?

Any help would be appreciated.
