Problems after re-installing Office 2007 + SP2

After reinstalling Office 2007 (to fix failure to install SP2) the
successfully installing SP2 etc I can't move emails from inbox to other
folders in Personal Folders. I get the message “Cannot move the items. Could
not complete the move. The items may already have been moved or deleted.â€

Importing my .pst backup (replace duplicates) failed to fix the problem.

Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?

One should never import but use File/Open/Personal Data File and browse
to your back up.

Sounds though you may have corrupted your pst.
With outlook closed run scanpst.exe against your data file, several times if
it finds an err on 1st pass
