Hey all
I've seen that there are some problems with sp2, i haven't seen mine so i'm
posting. After running sp2 update the system ran fine for a day or two.
After that I went to hotmail to check mail and it let me log in, but then
hanged after i hit my mail tab, no links would respond, status bar wasn't
active. i sat there an waited for at least 5 minutes..(eternity) an tried to
close the window and it wouldn't close, so i opened another IE, and tried a
yahoo account, it froze when i clicked on a mail message to read, i killed
explorer to regain control, and turned off firewall, and lowered security
settings to lowest possible.. and tried again. The yahoo account will open
messages if i open in a new window, but the hotmail is just takes five or ten
minutes to get into see the messages, and another five or so to open if it
does at all, also other sites will just not open at all that worked fine
prior to this update, no errors, no status bar message telling me what is
stopping it from loading. please help
johnny

How to troubleshoot problems accessing secure Web pages with IE6 SP2
After you upgrade to Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) in
Microsoft Windows XP SP2, some SSL-secured (128-Bit) Web pages and Web sites may not
work correctly. Frequently, this behavior is caused by security changes in Windows XP
SP2.
