Problematic Install

Hi,

I've just got a new motherboard, Gigabyte 7NF-RZ, and I'm having problems
installing XP. I tried to just use my computer with the original
installation of Windows but it wouldn't load and just froze. I tried all the
cables etc but still no joy. I decided to format disk and try a new install.

The CD loads, loads all the setup files, and then when it says starting
setup it just stops. I am stuck, can anyone help.

Thanks

The method to use after a motherboard swap is to boot from the XP CD and to
do a 'Repair' install. Obviously you can no longer try that.

Are you booting from the XP CD when tryng the 'new' installation?
